World Cup Reflections: Quarter final games

It appears to be a Europe-South America match for the quarter final games.

Uruguay-Ghana:
As much as I would like to see Ghana make the semi-finals, I also realize that Uruguay has better players and a better team. But I am ready for a good surprise! Go Black Stars!!

Netherlands-Brazil
If Netherlands can defend perfectly against the great Brazilian strikers and take advantage of their not perfect defense, then maybe they can put up a great game. Otherwise I think Brazil will prevail and make the semi-finals.

Argentina-Germany
Probably the best quarter final game. Germany has shown great soccer so far, but so has Argentina. I think the fact that Argentina has better players will make the difference at the end of the day.

Paraguay-Spain
It appears to be an easy walk for Spain to reach the semi-finals. we'll see if Paraguay will be able to do the miracle and leave the whole world speechless.

Canda Trip/Holsby Reunion/Wedding 2010

This past week me and my lady (Dr Shaffer as I like to call her), went to Canada to visit friends and to attend a good friend's wedding!
We flew to Saskatchewan (pretty much north of Montana) where for the whole week we were treated like super guests by Drew and his fam. (awesome peeps). During this trip we learned a lot of things about Canada and Saskatoon.

I came to the conclusion that Tim Horton's is better than Starbucks! Their french vanilla is heavenly!

With this said I am not boycotting Starbucks, in fact I had a venti iced chai tea yesterday, but I am just saying that Timmy's stuff is oh so good!

Mallorie on the other hand learned that if you need to poop, you have to lay on your left side and it speeds up the process...Just like this:

On a more serious note, it was great to see how our friendships didn't change even if we hadn't seen some of these people in two years. We picked up exactly from where we left.

Our friend Solveig got married To Ben (who seems a really nice guy btw) and we are all so happy for them, now that they start this new chapter together!

What up!! So I created a new blog for a few reasons, which we may discuss later.
You may be wondering why DMSC? what does that mean? Well I am not going to tell you...it's a secret, so stop thinking about it!
I want to use this blog to blog about sports, God, love, traveling, important stuff, meaningless stuff, life....also, people in Italy can get an update on my life!
