We have arrived at the semi-finals with a lot of drama, surprises and bad refereeing.
Tomorrow morning (my time) Uruguay will face the Netherlands in a match that could be historical for the both of them. Nobody has been able to score more than one goal to Uruguay so far, but we also have to remember that they did not face any strong team. Netherlands just beat Brasil, so they are probably very pumped, but they have to be careful not to underestimate Uruguay. I got right only two of the last four predictions, but I am pretty confident when I say that Netherlands will get the first ticket to the final game.
Wednesday, the surprising Germany will face Spain; I say surprising because I don't know how many people pictured Germany so incredibly strong this year. They are very hungry, after losing in the semi-finals four years ago in their homeland, so they want to win, and win big!
Spain on the other hand hasn't been that strong so far. David Villa has been scoring almost every goal, so the question is: if he happaned to have a bad day, who would score? Spain barely beat Paraguay (definitely not the strongest team), and struggled a little to beat Portugal and Chile.
If Germany had to score first it would be extrememly hard for Spain to come back.
My prediction is that Germany will face Netherlands in the final game!
